4Days alongside Regione FVG and Insiel for the digitization of public procurement in FVG

A challenging start of the year for 4Days. It has started the project that will commit 4Days together with Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia and Insiel to the experimentation of the use of the Truspace platform as a possible solution for the digital management of BIM contracting stations in FVG. Let's talk about it with Marco Lotti, co-founder of 4Days with Emilio Ziraldo, that expresses a lot of satisfaction for this project in the phase of start.

2023 opens with the knowledge of a particularly challenging project for 4Days...

ML “There is no doubt: the project makes usproud because it starts officially a path in comparison and innovation with Region and INSIEL, the entity that represents the digital development of public administration of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Andit is, to date, the first experimentation of this kind in Italy.”

Moreover, it is a confirmation of the uniqueness and power of Truspace platform...

ML ”Truspace platform, the innovation project developed by 4Days, has proven of being efficient in different contexts, Public and Private, in Design & Build as well as in Asset Management processes. Due to this it has been choosen on an experimental basis as a solutioand for supporting the processes of public contracts managed in BIM, in compliancewith the development of regulations which provides for the progressivecompulsory use of BIM metodology for contracting stations in. It is abroad in project , with a prominent partner in the context of an important scenario like the one of Regione FVG.”

Is the project going to involve all the regional public administration?

ML “Fexperimentation is going to involve first a set number ofPA for in order to build immediately a diversified panel of contracting stations. Thus,entities that are going to manage big contracts, as well as smaller entities, in order to test miscellaneous processes according to the type of PAasset andate with commissions it.”

How is the relation going to articulate?

ML ”The scenario of this large-scale experimentation planned with IInsiel also involves a consulting and formative support on the management of contracts. In other words, it will involve not only the technological infrastructure, but also progressivethe support of the administrations in this crucial step.“

What temporal dimension will the experiment have?

ML “The large-scale experimentation experimentation is scheduled for nine months, during which time we will also have the opportunity to test and evaluate the interaction of our solution with with those currently in use in the region, for example with Eagle, Insiel's in Insiel, for the local information.”

What will be the next steps?

ML “The months of January and February were dedicated to the planning, the study of the architectures of integration with the ecosystem made available by Insiel for the PA of the region and the involvement of the administrations that are part of the experimentation.

From March will be launched training courses on the platform and the start of the first pilot projects with individual administrations. Between July and September we estimate that we will have the first results of the accompanying process.”

Is this a challenging project in which the whole 4Days team will be involved?

ML “In the experimentation 4Days oversees different dimensions. Dalla soluzione digitale per la gestione di processi BIM, alla parte dei servizi di accompagnamento organizzativo e formativo; una evoluzione digitale e metodologica verso il BIM con un approccio a tutto tondo, in sintesi.”

Once again 4Days will express itself with an innovative project...

ML “Innovation and experimentation are the guiding threads that are accompanying us in these years given the innovation and recent introduction of the methodology itself. In this case the innovation, for which it has to be given credit to the Region FVG and to Insiel,, is in the integrated approach which involves on a large-scale basis the territory, representing as far as we know a uniqueness in Italy or abroad. On the other hand in thisregion FVG once again stands out for innovation capacity and autonomy in a progressive scenario.

For us, it is a process in continuity with an accompaniment to the transformation of the PA in which we are active in different regions; this was made possible also through the contribution to the training courses promoted by ComPa that gave us the opportunity to know in depth the network of contracting stations.elle stazioni appaltanti.
