These days, 4Days celebrates a special milestone: its first four years in business.
A still young age for a company, but already a significant time to look back, reflect on the journey and draw the first conclusions. Four years of challenges, growth and small great successes that mark the exit from the initial phase and the entry into an even more solid and mature phase.
We talk about this significant step with Marco Lotti -CEO of 4Days- who, with Emilio Ziraldo, started the company's adventure in 2021.
What is the word that best captures this anniversary?
Marco Lotti: ‘If I had to sum up the experience of these four years in one word, closing my eyes I would say consistency. It seems to me to be a good lowest common denominator, which could be declined for three, four different dimensions.’
let's start with the first...
Marco Lotti: ‘The first dimension to which the concept of consistency can be approached is certainly the vision: of how the market, our role and product could have evolved. Or rather, the confirmation of a vision that, until it is put to the test, remains an intuition. In our case, I will briefly remind you, it is the vision of a company specialising in organisational evolution and digital transformation processes, with a specific focus on BIM. It is a non-linear vision with respect to the team's original background, but one that has proven to be solid: as an innovative product idea, as a service proposal, as a market approach, and as a strategic positioning.’
A vision must then have strong legs on which to walk ...
Marco Lotti: ‘Certainly. Consistency, to be such, also requires a group that knows how to realise it. Every day we become more aware of the consistency of our teamwhich has demonstrated daily that it is there and also knows how to attract new talent, generating a virtuous dynamic. And this is thanks to quality, application, but also through the ability to sustain a climate of solidarity and willingness to smile. These two factors have led to a high degree of attractiveness of our company. In the last six months, the following have joined the team Daniele Antonutti, Enrico Bacciocchi, Rita Boldarino, Alice Rizzito name a few, very high quality grafts that immediately made a positive impact. In general, the group is made up of very heterogeneous profiles in terms of disciplines, age, professional backgrounds and geographical origins. At 4Days, we cultivate this plurality in a simple but conscious way, which often proves to be a strong point in the management of the complex projects we tackle'.
These are essential conditions for achieving important results...
Marco Lotti: ‘Consistent are undoubtedly also the market and economic resultsboth quantitative and qualitative. Our customer base has increased year by year; however, it is particularly satisfying to observe that the nature of the relationships, which are typically multi-year, tend to take root more than positively. Today, we boast a portfolio of brand clients of the highest level, both in the private and public sectors, which is probably the result of a proposal that convinces the many interlocutors that populate the reference sector.’.
Looking to the future, what is the possible key?
Marco Lotti: To the consistency of the route taken corresponds, in my opinion, a promising scenariothat is the result of the structural growth of the BIM market and the positioning we have developed to date, both in the public and private sectors, and we are also beginning to develop internationally. Of course, our goal is to maintain and develop our positioning in a market in great ferment. Our product, the CDE Truspace, has gained consensus and positive feedback in the various areas of use. It is a digital product, which by its very nature is constantly subject to the challenge of evolution and innovation, but our focus is to sustain this commitment. In this dynamic, I cannot fail to mention the partnerships we have been fortunate enough to build with - among others - WebRatio, BimO, Wescan, STI Engineering, etc., a network that reinforces the outlook and encapsulates both of the concepts I referred to: promising and consistent. On this anniversary, I would say that the state of mind that distinguishes us is that of a group focused on its objectives and determined to continue building and communicating its proposal consistently.’
