Following the positive experience of the customised course aimed at technical staff in the Veneto Region, CUOA confirms the launch of a new training course dedicated to public administration contracting authorities, structured and managed in collaboration with 4Days.
The course, entitled “BIM for public administrations – Basic training course useful for the qualification of contracting authorities”, accredited by the National School of Administration (SNA), is now officially part of the prestigious Venetian business school's training catalogue.
At the end of 2024, CUOA obtained accreditation as an SNA training institution, thereby expanding its offering to the public administration sector. Among the first courses offered, the course dedicated to Building Information Modelling (BIM), structured along the lines of the one offered with 4Days last year, received positive feedback and was officially added to the range of courses available.
A 20-hour basic course for RUPs, technicians and managers
Basic level and lasting 20 hours, the course is aimed at all those involved in the contract management process, primarily RUPs (Responsabili Unici del Procedimento, or Sole Project Managers), technical managers and operational staff, IT and digital transition managers, legal managers and tender management staff.
Through a combination of theory and practice, participants will be guided in understanding and applying BIM principles in the context of public administration, exploring BIM-related public procurement regulations, identifying organisational actions for introducing BIM into internal processes, and analysing real-life cases to recognise the concrete value of BIM.
As usual, this basic course will also be available customized on request to meet the specific needs of individual administrations, ensuring maximum flexibility and quality in the design of training courses.
At the same time, the team is also expected to collaborate on a 60-hour specialist course, multidisciplinary in nature, designed to involve all profiles related to the digitisation of procurement, thus reaffirming the desire to confirm a commitment to training in public administration, with a particular focus on strategic issues that connect the public and private sectors.
