Among the dreams in her drawer, those cultivated as a young girl, Alessandra Forti cherished a career in the police force, to give voice to a natural vocation, that of working with and serving others. But the decision to enrol in Mathematics at Rome's Sapienza University to pass the time while waiting for the competition, will lead Alessandra to follow her inclinations, but in other ways and forms.

She was born in Lazio but she has mixed Lombard Friulian origins (she also speaks Carnic with pride!), and that degree she earned "almost for fun", triggered a rich and rewarding professional journey that would lead her in more than two decades to gather important experiences such as Project and team manager in multiple international companies. Her debut is - very young - in Ericsson Rome, a multinational company that immediately nurtures Alessandra's ability to combine two key words - people and projects - first with a technical role then with the coordination of gradually more important projects related to software development that open her the possibility of traveling the world. The personal sphere intertwines with the professional one, leading Alessandra to stay in the Netherlands for eight years and "start a family." It is a new professional opportunity from her life partner that brings her back to Italy, with Gemona del Friuli as her base. This new season is an opportunity to hone new skills and explore new areas-from telecommunications to engineering-and develop professional experience as a project manager and team manager in leading Friulian companies, from Teorema to Beantech to finally return to an international dimension in Eurotech, also integrating knowledge on the Edge Iot world.

Alessandra Forti from December joins 4Days. She, who has made change a way of life as well as a professional skill, is tasked with enriching the team by bringing her established experience in the project and change management.

8 questions to get to know her better:

  • What is one phrase that inspires you and that you recognize yourself in?
Live every day as if it were every day. Neither the first nor the last. The only one. (Pablo Neruda)
  • Your job title reads "Senior Consultant." In other words?
A few years on the shoulders in project management abroad and then in Italy...and you find yourself senior. I actually think it means understanding the context you are in, being able to act, lead and bring results and positive energy to your clients and within your company.
  • What led you to 4Days?
The name? Seriously: the philosophy of Less is More! Plus the opportunity to grow and acquire more skills on change management and contribute in turn by sharing project management experience.
  • What did you bring with you and what did you leave behind instead?
I brought a wealth of professional experience as a project manager developed in large companies in different fields, but above all, a cultural background and experience based on interpersonal relationships with all the colleagues who have supported and endured me over the years, years that I will never leave behind.
  • In your way of working the obligatory word is...
    Collaboration and transparency.
  • How do you like to start and end your working day?
It starts with some exercise to keep fit and ends with a relaxing walk now in downtown Udine and, when possible, the happy hour with colleagues.
  • What is your special project at 4Days?
Feeling at home, working earnestly and professionally in a nice group of colleagues, having fun but always bringing home customer satisfaction, which then becomes our own.
  • What do you love to do on your "5 day"?
I love playing sports, hiking in the mountains and when possible exploring new roads and switchbacks with my new motorcycle. All seasoned and immersed in chores around the house, managing teenage children...and two undemanding dogs (at least them).
