If true commercial talent stems from empathy and the ability to build relationships, anyone who meets Tomaso, even for just a few minutes, immediately senses that his first vocation—architecture—could not be his only destination. Born in Mira, in the heart of the Riviera del Brenta region of Veneto, after graduating in Design from the IUAV University of Venice, Tomaso Carraro inizia la sua carriera professionale intraprendendo la strada “classica”: progettista, direttore lavori, un presente immerso nei cantieri.

From december, Tomaso Carraro after exploring new professional opportunities, he chooses to commit to the project 4Days, joining the team as Sales Manager.

We asked him 8 questions to get to know him better:

  • What is the phrase that inspires you and in which you recognise yourself?
One sentence might not be enough... I'll choose three:

“It is not the strongest species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to changes". (Charles Darwin)

A man is successful if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night, and in between he does what he wants to do." (Bob Dylan)

“I like to think that I am doing something that is needed, and that is why I try to do it well". (Bruce Spingteen)

  • Il tuo job title recita “Sales Manager”. In altre parole?

Conveying to my interlocutor, whoever they may be, the values that guide our company: to be a trusted partner for our customers with the aim of accompanying them in achieving the results we have set together, and doing so in a way that is healthy, sustainable, and profitable for our company. At 4Days, I have found exceptional professionals, and my job is to make sure they don't get bored...

  • What led you to 4Days?
The desire to take on a new professional challenge in a company whose values, vision, approach, and methods I could share. It may sound like a cliché, but I assure you it isn't. I invested time and energy in finding it. It wasn't easy... But of all the opportunities that came my way, 4Days was the project I felt I could commit to.
  • What you take with you and what you leave behind?
I take with me everything I can and that is worth taking: experiences, burdens, lessons learned, and “war booty.” With gratitude and appreciation, I leave behind a company that has given me so much, but not the many talented people with whom I have been fortunate enough to work and who have left their mark on me.
  • In your way of working, the watchword is...
Believe in it! If you don't believe in what you're doing, it's unlikely that anything good will come of it.
  • How do you love to start and end your working day?
  • What is your special project at 4Days?
Supporting our company in its growth, alongside the growth of our customers. Either we win together or no one wins.
  • What you love to do on "Day 5"?
Devoting myself to my family and outdoor activities, while also cultivating some good friendships and enjoying some good reading.
